About Me:
Well, let’s see.
I studied Journalism at Rutgers University, graduating in 2002. After graduating, I did some freelance writing for a few years. I’ve written on a variety of subjects, but mostly about sports and wrestling.
What I love about wrestling is it has so many elements that come together to tell a compelling story. There is action, drama, comedy, suspense, and so many plot twists. I also like to see the variety of performers with so many different personalities and styles.
I was writing for another site earlier this year when Jay contacted me and was gracious enough to offer me a chance to write for wweblog. I thought this was a great opportunity for me to have another platform to express my thoughts on the sport of wrestling, which I enjoy so much.
Outside of wrestling and wweblog, I enjoy a variety of other sports including Baseball, Basketball, and Football. I also like to relax just hanging out with my friends.
Favourite Wrestler:
Hulk Hogan
Hogan was unquestionably the biggest star in wrestling in the ’80s and he’s the one who got me into wrestling as a little kid. I loved everything about him, his look, power, charisma, and aura of invincibility.
Some of my other favorites over the years include Stone Cold, The Rock, Undertaker, and Chris Jericho (my favorite current wrestler) but Hogan will always be #1 for me as thoughts of him bring back fond memories of my childhood as a wrestling fan.
Favourite Pay Per View:
Wrestlemania XVII
This show is widely considered the best WWE Pay Per View ever. It was full of great matches including a TLC match between the Dudleys, Hardys, and Edge & Christian, Shane vs. Vince in a street fight, HHH vs. Undertaker, and the main event featured a memorable match between The Rock and Stone Cold, two of the greatest ever.
There are two other Pay Par Views, though, that will always hold a special place in my heart. Wrestlemania V was the first Pay Per View I ever saw and featured Hulk Hogan regaining the title from the “Macho Man.” Royal Rumble 2000 was the first Pay Per View I ever attended and featured a great street fight between HHH and Cactus Jack as well as the Rock winning the Rumble.
