The Superstars Recap
Opening Match
Singles Match
JTG (w/ Shad)
Vs.
C.M Punk (w/ The Straight Edge Society)
Just days away from WrestleMania (and in fact just a few hours as I write this, busy times!) and we’ve got a blockbuster match like this!
Just in case your sarcasm radar is off, I couldn’t be less interested in this obvious squash match.
I mean think about it, are they going to damage C.M Punk’s momentum going into WrestleMania just to give JTG a win?
JTG, who hasn’t had a meaningful match since I can’t remember when.
Given that both Raw and NXT were about 50% WrestleMania promo videos this week, I fully expected Superstars to be verging on the 90-95% mark, so I was shocked to see an actual match.
Unsurprisingly Punk picked up the win with the GTS, with no intervention from Rey and no after-match shenanigans from The Straight Edge Society
C.M Punk wins by Pinfall.

Main Event Match
Singles Match
Rey Mysterio
Vs.
Tyson Kidd (w/ The Hart Dynasty)
Well, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Wherever Cryme Tyme are, unfortunately The Hart Dynasty aren’t far behind.
This is the same story as the first match really, anyone who honestly expected Mysterio to have his momentum derailed by someone who isn’t even involved in WrestleMania (as much as The Hart Dynasty should be) had to be slightly deluded.
The only positive to come out of this is that Kidd got a good 10-15 minutes to show what he is capable of, and boy did he.
Mysterio eventually pulled the win out with a 619/Senton Splash, but only after Kidd took him to the limit.
Nothing particularly inspiring about tonight’s show and as expected it was choc full of clips.
Rey Mysterio wins by Pinfall.
