Dolph Ziggler

Shelton Benjamin
Superstars opened tonight with some Money in the Bank hype, as two of the favourites (at least in my opinion) went head to head in a great match.
Well, great in terms of a bout on Superstars anyway.
Surprisingly Ziggler had the lions share of offence here, picking up the victory with his new ‘fashionable’ Sleeper after failing to get the 1..2..3 with the Zig-Zag.

Singles Match
Mike Knox
Vs.
Goldust
Here are two guys I don’t think we’ll be seeing much more of in the future.
The sad thing is Knox had some potential and Goldust is one hell of an entertainer, but there doesn’t really seem to be a place for them on the ‘big two’ and I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t see out the remainder of their WWE careers putting people over on Superstars.
I won’t drag this one out, Goldust scored the win, which speaks volumes for how much stock the creative team are putting in Mike Knox.

Santino Marella
Vs.
Zack Ryder (w/Rosa Mendes)
The big news in this match has to be that Santino finally nailed someone with ‘The Cobra’!
Unfortunately just moments after landing it Rosa Mendes caused a distraction, allowing Ryder to hit the Ruff-Ryder and the Zack Attack to pick up the win.
I still like Ryder, but they are going to have to do something with him soon to keep me interested, getting rid of the awful Rosa Mendes would be a start.

Tag Team Match
M.V.P & Christian (w/Heath Slater)
Vs.
Chavo Guerrero & Carlito (w/Michael Tarver)
I’ve got to admit I’m fast losing interest in Superstars.
This was probably quite a good match, but I spent most of it only half watching and half reading an article about Shawn Stasiak (remember him?)
As you’d expect things broke down completely at the end of the match, allowing Christian to pick up the win with the KillSwitch.
Hopefully Smackdown won’t be so much of a disappointment.
