    On with the show!

    Quick Links

Match 1: Mark Henry Vs. Primo

Match 3: Michelle McCool Vs. Tiffany

    Segment 1: The Guerreros

Main Event: Christian Vs. Chavo Guerrero

    The Superstars Recap

    Match 1

    Singles Match
    Mark Henry
    Vs.
    Primo

Another blockbuster match to start as you can see.

I’ve been accused recently of being overly harsh to Superstars, and yes I know it’s just a glorified version of Heat/Velocity and really I shouldn’t even waste my time covering it, but the amount of hype they put into it when it first started, I kind of feel cheated, and that’s why I’m critical.

The first few shows had Taker, Orton, Jericho and I think even Cena at one point.

When was the last time anyone above the IC picture appeared on Superstars? And no I’m not counting when guys like Jericho and Punk have accompanied their NXT guys or whatever.

I guess I shouldn’t complain, Ziggler has had some really positive outings that he probably wouldn’t have gotten if this show didn’t exist, but still I get the feeling it’s going down hill, and fast.

Henry won this match with a Worlds Strongest Man, but it was a real nothing bout. If Primo’s going to get a push as a strong heel, it needs to start happening NOW.

Hold on to your hats guys, Michael Cole has just announced that we’ve got a BIG DIVAS MATCH coming up tonight!

    I can hardly wait.

    Mark Henry wins by Pinfall.

    Match 2

    Divas Match
    Gail Kim
    Vs.
    Jillian

You know what’s the upsetting thing? This isn’t the BIG DIVAS MATCH Michael Cole mentioned, which means we’re getting two of them tonight *sigh*.

I’m begging them to make this a Divas-Only show, then I wouldn’t have to watch it.

This match went on forever as well, which made me even happier that I pressed FF and skipped to the end.

Gail won with ‘Eat DeFeet’, and I don’t think anyone expected something different.

    Gail Kim wins by Pinfall.

    Match 3

    Divas Match
    Michelle McCool (w/Layla)
    Vs.
    Tiffany

The highlight of this match for me had to be that Mini-Naich was officiating.

As with the previous match, there were no surprises here.

Michelle dominated, Tiffany briefly fought back then got drilled with the Faith Breaker for the 1..2..3.

Matt Striker made the usual annoyance of himself, singing along to Michelle’s entrance music when she won and saying ‘Flawless’ in a very camp voice.

    Michelle McCool wins by Pinfall.

    Segment 1

    The Guerreros

Backstage Vickie Guerrero calls her nephew Chavo over and tells him that he better win in his match tonight against Christian.

Dolph Ziggler enters and Vickie flirts with him shamelessly, dropping her papers and then ‘falling’ into his arms.

He asks her what she wants as she asked to see him, but she says that they can talk after the show instead.

After Ziggler leaves Chavo looks at Vickie in a rather puzzled manner and the segment ends.

I’m really not liking all these nails being hammered into Dolph’s coffin.

    Main Event Match

    Singles Match
    Christian
    Vs.
    Chavo Guerrero

I’ll cut to the chase on this one real quick.

Christian started this match on fire, beating Chavo from pillar to post until Vickie Guerrero hit the ramp.

She said that she’d come up with a way to make things far more interesting, then introduced Dolph Ziggler as Chavo’s partner, making this a 2 on 1 handicap match.

    Main Event Match V2

    2 on 1 Handicap Match
    Christian
    Vs.
    Chavo Guerrero & Dolph Ziggler

Following Vickie’s changes Christian found it much more difficult to dominate as he had done prior, taking a severe beating from Ziggler in the early going.

After some dirty double teaming antics from the heels Christian began to mount some offence, but after missing a Flying-Cross Body it looked like he might be in trouble.

He regained control and hit Chavo with the KillSwitch after a missed Frogsplash, but unbeknownst to Captain Charisma Dolph Ziggler had made the blind tag and hit the ZigZag to pick up the 1..2..3.

Another victory for Dolph, but I’d rather it come in a different manner.

Chavo Guerrero & Dolph Ziggler win by Pinfall.
