    Segment 1

    Halloween Introduction

It’s Halloween this week, so we’re being treated to a special ‘spooky’ edition of NXT that Michael Cole guarantees will horrify.

All the Divas are in costume tonight, dressed as the following:

    A.J – A Teenage Mutant Hero/Ninja Turtle

    Naomi – Hamburger Helper

    Kaitlyn – Vickie Guerrero

    Maxine – The Ice Queen

    Aksana – A Devil

Once in the ring Striker warned them not to lose their focus as there would be an elimination next week, which he said would be the first.

How quickly Jamie has been forgotten.

Anyway, we’re straight into the first challenge, which is surprise surprise a costume contest.

    Segment 2

    Costume Contest

No one seems to know what the actual concept of this is, even Cole and Mathews.

Aksana used her time to dance around, Maxine said something about being on top, Kaitlyn did a pretty good Vickie Guerrero impression, Naomi tried in vein to rip off Dave Chapelle’s Rick James and A.J waved around some ‘sai’, pretending to be Raphael.

Kaitlyn won, then the cameras cut backstage where Ted DiBiase and Maryse had just showed up, for some reason.

    Match 1

    Singles Match
    Naomi (w/Kelly Kelly)
    Vs.
    Maxine (w/Alicia Fox)

This is a grudge match stemming from last week’s limbo contest, which Matt Striker is apparently footing the blame for ruining.

About 30 seconds into the match Tony Chimmel wandered over to the announce desk and showed Cole and Mathews how they could watch Knucklehead on their laptop, which they did for a while until the action got a little too close for comfort.

As unlikely as it seemed, the girl wearing the giant hand picked up the win with a ‘Hand-Butt’.

    Naomi wins by Pinfall.

    Segment 3

    Goldust on Alert

Backstage Goldust and Aksana are talking about Ted and Maryse’s presence on NXT.

Goldust tries his best to get her focused on tonight, but she keeps babbling on about the wedding until a random U.S Immigration agent walks in.

He tells them that if they aren’t married by next week, she’ll be deported.

    Match 2

    Singles Match
    Brie Bella (w/Nikki Bella)
    Vs.
    A.J. (w/Primo)

I’m not even going into this one, suffice to say that The Bellas pulled Twin Magic to get the win.

However, the developing storyline is that Nikki seems to be turning heel.

Last week she showed ‘new aggression’ and this week she pulled the switch without letting her sister know, dragging her out of the ring with force to take her place.

    Brie Bella wins by Pinfall.

    Segment 4

    Family Heirloom

Back in the NXT locker room Maryse isn’t best pleased.

She tells Ted she wants to leave NXT, but he tells her he has to get the Million Dollar Championship back.

She asks why he can’t just buy a new one, and he says it’s the principle of the matter, explaining that the belt has been in his family for years.

Ted tells Maryse she’s going to help him get the belt back and she reluctantly agrees, chatting away in French as she left.

    Segment 5

    Candy Eating Contest

This one is pretty self explanatory.

Each Diva has a plate full of candy, they get a minute to eat as much as they can.

Matt Striker asks if anyone in the back would like to give him some help and unsurprisingly Hornswoggle accepts.

If you’re idea of enjoyment is watching 5 girls who would normally cringe at eating more than a few leaves of lettuce try their hardest to eat some stodgy chocolate bars, you’d have loved this.

Maxine picked up the win, although accusations of cheating were rife, as Hornswoggle kept trying to eat her candy.

The pair then had a set-to, arguments erupted, Kaitlyn started choking on a piece of candy and Hornswoggle had to apply the heimlich manoeuvre, which resulted in a load of liquid chocolate being sprayed onto Vickie Guerrero.

After commercials Kaitlyn went backstage to try and apologise, but Ziggler cut her off and warned her not to at the minute, accompanied with an awkward sexual tension.

    Main Event Match

    Mixed Tag Team Match
    Ted DiBiase & Maryse
    Vs.
    Goldust & Aksana

Long story short here, Ted and Goldust did a great job, Aksana and Maryse less so, but still not terrible.

Aksana picked up the win with a Small Package, but this whole thing ultimately came down to the Million Dollar Championship again.

Ted snatched back the belt at the end of the match, but then for some reason gave it to Maryse, who immediately lost it in a tug of war with Aksana.

Goldust and Aksana left with the belt, and we’re no closer to resolution.

    Goodnight everybody.

Goldust & Aksana win by Pinfall.
