    The Weekly Informer - 24th November 2009

    The Weekly Informer

    Welcome to The Weekly Informer

Welcome folks to another edition of the best WWE gossip free money can buy!

This weeks issue is focussing mainly on injuries and recoveries, so lets get started.

    Slobberknocked

Everyone wants to know when good ol’ JR will be back.

The truth is, no one knows, and only JR himself will find out pending more meetings with doctors over his progress.

The current prognosis is mid December at the earliest and Wrestlemania at the latest.

With Michael Cole struggling to impress and Sean Mooney also rumoured to be on the way back in, officials are clearly concerned commentary is now becoming a weak spot within the company, furthered by Jesse and Vince taking to the desk at the climax of the 3 Hour Raw Special.

    Rated R..ecovery

Another superstar as much in the dark over a return is Edge.

A Wrestlemania return has been the target for a while now, although signs of the Rated-R Superstar making this are looking less likely each day.

Chris Jericho was pencilled in to be his rival after the way the team divided, but this may now become Jericho-Undertaker.

    Show Stopping Injury

Speaking of Y2J, his tag team partner Big Show looked to be struggling at Survivor Series and will now face minor surgery on his knee.

The good news is that he should be fine for the upcoming TLC PPV where he and Jericho will take on DX for the tag straps.

    Mysteri-Out

Someone more unfortunate than Show is the Ultimate Underdog; Rey Mysterio.

Having struggled with injuries and most recently a drug rehab admission, Mysterio has reportedly damaged his ACL and will need a much more lengthy lay-off.

This was hammered home by the demolition job performed by Batista, putting him on the storyline shelf for a while.

Wrestlemania is also the target set for Rey, but again is more in hope than anything else.

This would continue Mysterio’s dismal Wrestlemania appearance record in recent years, although costing Batista a marquee match would be a positive way to come back.

    Batista & The Deadman…again

After his convincing destruction of Mysterio, Batista is now fully expected to launch himself into title contender status against the Undertaker, rekindling a rivalry almost as well fought out as Orton/Cena.

As you all know, ‘Taker is not as mobile as he once was, and the title never appears to stay with him for long.

Royal Rumble may be the time to drop it, or perhaps even sooner.

    R-Truth Being Punk’d?

The previous World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk, has been drifting further down the card recently.

In one of my early issues I reported of how he angered WWE management, leading to his somewhat one-sided defeat against ‘Taker for the strap.

Well, he still appears to be struggling for behind the scenes favour, and his next few months look like being a miserable feud against R-Truth.

Maybe this will be used more as a way of pushing R-Truth than demoting Punk, but only time shall tell.

    The Marine 2

Lastly, I noticed on WWE.com that the Marine sequel starring Ted Dibiase is starting to gather momentum and subsequent promotion for it’s DVD release.

As I stated before, I fully expect Dibiase to be turned face to coincide with the release, or at least be given some form of push.

I’m sticking my neck out here, but hopefully I shall be once again proven correct.

Just remember, you heard it here first!

    The End Bit

Thanks once again for reading and remember, if you spot anything you think I might like to sink my teeth into, drop me an email here.

I’ll be back again next week with more of the hottest rumours and behind the scenes gossip.

    I promise.

After all, Would I lie to you?
