    The Weekly Informer - 13th October 2009

    The Weekly Informer

    Welcome to The Weekly Informer

Well hello boys and girls, I’ve been drafted in by Monsieur Davies to provide a different dimension to this up and coming website; the juicy behind the scenes gossip regarding what goes on after the various shows go off air.

This weeks début issue shouldn’t disappoint, so here goes…

Let’s kick off with a bombshell.

    Oh Mah Gawd King…

Good ol’ JR could well be on his way out.

He has requested time off from the next Smackdown/Superstars tapings, something which is not considered good practice in the business.

When you consider that his contract expiring at the end of the year, could the days of the BBQ-loving Oklahoman sitting at ringside really be over?

    In The Bad Books

Two Superstars who have recently been in hot water with the esteemed Mr. McMahon are Matt Hardy and CM Punk.

Hardy has been reportedly quite vocal over brother Jeff’s recent troubles, believing he has been held back by creative and punished for his siblings actions.

CM Punk landed himself in the brown stuff over an issue regarding dress code whilst on tour.

He was, shall we say, not carrying himself as a champion should and reportedly took a shot at WWE Golden Boy John Cena.

Although this has subsequently been dismissed by WWE staff, including good ol’ JR himself, the way in which The Undertaker had a relatively straight forward clean pinfall job over him for the title on the opening match of Hell In A Cell would lead you to believe there is some substance to the rumour.

Perhaps his new name should be CM Stunk.

From One Legend Returning to the ‘Ring’…

Woooo…..The Nature Boy Ric Flair is reported to be engaged AGAIN. He’ll be matching his world title record wins against marriages soon.

    …To Another

Bret Hart has distanced himself from rumours that he was close to agreeing a deal to reappear on TV in some capacity. General Manager had been touted amongst other positions, although it is Bret that has concerns over how limited his character would now be. But what is certain is that talks have been ongoing, so watch this space…..

    Bulldozer to Return?

Could Umaga be returning? Sources close to the Samoan suggest so. Again, this space is to be watched…..

    Making an Impression

Lastly, if I were you, I would get to a willing bookies and bet on Drew McIntyre being given a huge push to a title very soon.

One admirer of his talents is said to be Triple H, and we all know the influence he has over proceedings.

    The End Bit

Well, that’s your lot for this week I’m afraid.

Rest assured I shall be back in the not too distant future with more WWE backstage titbits, but for now why not check out the Spotlight On Chris Jericho article.

Remember, if you have any gossip you think I’d appreciate drop me an email at informant@wweblog.co.uk or use the Contact Us page specifying that it should be forwarded to The Informant.
