WWE Unified Tag Team Championship

A VERY short match to open the show. Morrison and Truth never really got into it.

Result: The Big Show scores a pinfall after a blind tag and a Knockout Punch.

Grudge Match

Triple Threat Match

Randy Orton
Vs.
Ted DiBiase
Vs.
Cody Rhodes

Everything you’d expect from this one really.

DiBiase and Rhodes turned on each other, one got hit with the Punt, the other with the RKO as Orton picked up the win.

Result: Randy Orton covers DiBiase for the 1..2..3 after an RKO.

Segment 1

Divas Interviewed

Some nonsense involving Vickie Guerrero, Santino Marella, Mae Young, Mean Gene and Melina.

Money In The Bank

Ladder Match

Evan Bourne
Vs.
Jack Swagger
Vs.
MVP
Vs.
Christian
Vs.
Shelton Benjamin
Vs.
Kane
Vs.
Dolph Ziggler
Vs.
Matt Hardy
Vs.
Drew McIntyre
Vs.
Kofi Kingston

This match was full of blown spots and the occasional big bump. Not bad but not amazing either.

Result: Jack Swagger grabs the briefcase after about 20 minutes of trying to get it unhooked.

Segment 2

Hall of Fame Class of 2010

A clip of last nights Induction Ceremony and acknowledgement of the class who emerged at the top of the ramp.

Grudge Match

Singles Match

Triple H
Vs.
Sheamus

Best match of the night so far and a great performance from both men.

Sheamus came up short, but did himself proud at his first Mania.

Result: Triple H scores the pinfall after a Pedigree.

Grudge Match

Singles Match

Rey Mysterio
Vs.
CM Punk

The Ultimate Underdog did it again, pulling out a win against all the odds and escaping an unwanted membership to the Straight Edge Society.

Result: A 619/Splash combo allows Rey to pick up the pinfall despite the best attempts of Serena and Luke Gallows.

‘No Holds Barred’ Match

Singles Match

Bret “Hitman” Hart
Vs.
Mr. McMahon

McMahon thought he’d screwed Bret once again, but after a double cross this turned into 1-way traffic that saw the Boss get beaten to a pulp with 15 (that’s FIFTEEN) chair shots.

Result: Bret Hart wins by Submission with a Sharpshooter. Did anyone expect anything else?

World Heavyweight Championship

Singles Match

Chris Jericho (c)
Vs.
Edge

Great match, albeit far too low down the card.

Edge failed to win, but had the last laugh as he Speared Jericho off the announce table and through the barricade into the timekeepers area.

Result: Chris Jericho grabbed the win with a CodeBreaker, but it could have gone either way.

Segment 3

Mania 26 Battle Royal

Clips from the ‘Dark Match’ earlier in the night, a huge battle royal won by Yoshi Tatsu.

Divas Match

5 on 5 Tag Team Match

About as awful and pointless as things get.

It’s a mockery that this made it onto the card full stop, never mind later than a World Title match.

Result: Vickie Guerrero grabbed a pinfall after a ‘Hog Splash’ on Kelly Kelly.

WWE Championship Match

Singles Match

Batista (c)
Vs.
John Cena

A far better match than the first time they met, but the outcome was way too predictable.

Result: John Cena wins the WWE Championship with the STF Submission hold.

Career Vs. Streak

Singles Match

Shawn Michaels
Vs.
The Undertaker

Amazing is the only word I can come up with to describe this match.

I didn’t think they’d top last year, but they did.

Result: The Undertaker went 18-0 after numerous Tombstones, ending Shawn Michaels career.
