Fatal 4 Way 2010 Lite Results!

Segment 1

Mr. McMahon Starts the Show

McMahon starts the show. He says that Bret won’t be in attendance after his attack and he’ll be meeting with his representatives later to discuss how long he’ll be out for and how to deal with the NXT Season 1 Rookies.

Intercontinental Championship Match

Singles Match

Kofi Kingston (c)
Vs.
Drew McIntyre

Not bad but not great either.

Matt Hardy and Teddy Long both had a hand in Kingston’s win.

Result: Kofi Kingston retains with Trouble in Paradise.

Segment 2

The Hart Dynasty Interviewed

Dull dull dull, and only served to inform us of a match they are in against the Uso’s later tonight.

Divas Championship Match

Fatal 4 Way Match

Eve (c)
Vs.
Maryse
Vs.
Alicia Fox
Vs.
Gail Kim

A pretty average Divas match that for some reason featured submission after submission.

Gail Kim looked like picking up the win, but Alicia Fox stole it at the death.

Result: Alicia Fox stole a victory after Gail Kim had done all the hard work.

Segment 3

Mysteri-Show

Show and Mysterio talked about their chances in the title match later tonight.

Grudge Match

Singles Match

Chris Jericho
Vs.
Evan Bourne

An impromptu match added to the card as Jericho wanted to restore some honour after losing on Raw.

Match of the night so far without doubt, both guys came very close to winning it but…

Result: Evan Bourne grabbed the 3 after going for the Air Bourne a total of 4 times, finally hitting it and scoring the pin.

World Heavyweight Championship Match

Fatal 4 Way Match

Jack Swagger (c)
Vs.
The Big Show
Vs.
C.M Punk
Vs.
Rey Mysterio

Nothing awful here but again nothing that sparkled.

Kane came out as he promised and decided Punk was at fault, but Luke Gallows scuppered his plans to shut Punk in a casket.

Rey picked the bones that Punk had left and grabbed the win.

Result: The Ultimate Underdog became the new World Heavyweight Champion.

Segment 4

John Cena Interviewed

Cena talked about the possibility of losing his title and the NXT Season 1 Rookies showing up.

United States Championship Match

Singles Match

The Miz (c)
Vs.
R-Truth

The crowd were completely dead for the largest part of this match, and it really suffered from being so high up the card.

Result: The Miz retains in a good, but unappreciated bout.

Segment 5

Edge Interviewed

Edge talked about everyone’s mindsets going into tonight’s Main Event.

Grudge Match

Mixed 6 Person Tag Team Match

The Hart Dynasty
Vs.
The Usos

Another match that suffered completely because of it’s position on the card.

Both teams put on a great show that would have opened to a fantastic response.

Result: Natalya grabbed the win with a Spinning Clothesline.

WWE Championship Match

Fatal 4 Way Match

John Cena (c)
Vs.
Sheamus
Vs.
Edge
Vs.
Randy Orton

A very strong main event with a weak ending, similar to the World Heavyweight bout.

The NXT guys showed up and attacked everyone that tried to stand in their way, allowing Sheamus to cowardly sneak in and steal the gold.

Result: Sheamus claimed the WWE Championship from John Cena after attacks from NXT Rookies left everyone else down and out.

Just The Results

1. Kofi Kingston defeated Drew McIntyre by Pinfall to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
2. Alicia Fox defeated Maryse by Pinfall to become the new WWE Divas Champion.
3. Evan Bourne defeated Chris Jericho by Pinfall.
4. Rey Mysterio defeated Jack Swagger by Pinfall to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
5. The Miz defeated R-Truth by Pinfall to retain the United States Championship.
6. The Hart Dynasty defeated The Usos by Pinfall.
7. Sheamus defeated John Cena by Pinfall to become the New WWE Champion.
