    WrestleMania XXV Confirmed Matches

Wrestlemania XXV Banner ⓒWorld Wrestling Entertainment

Find out what matches are currently scheduled to take place at the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania.

Money In the Bank Ladder Match
    Entrants:
    C.M Punk
    Kane
    Shelton Benjamin
    M.V.P
    Kofi Kingston
    Mark Henry
    Christian
    Finlay

The winner of this match gets a contract for a shot at any title at any time. It usually Kicks off the event and is guaranteed to be an adrenaline filled, high flying spectacle.

25 Diva Battle Royal to crown the first ever Miss WrestleMania

25 diva’s from past and present will compete in a Battle Royal to crown Miss WrestleMania. Fans have been promised a surprise or two in this one which should be enough to keep interest high. Plus, everyone loves a Battle Royal, right?

3 on 1 Legends Handicap Match
Chris Jericho Vs. Rowdy Roddy Piper, Jimmy ‘Superfly’ Snuka & Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat (w/ Ric Flair)

For weeks leading up to WrestleMania Chris Jericho has goaded and taunted a selection of the WWE’s finest Legends. Now it may be payback time as he takes on three of the all time WWE greats, lead into battle by The Nature Boy Ric Flair in an attempt to defend the good name of every retired wrestler who decided to give the fans one last match.

Not to mention Mickey Rourke, star of ‘The Wrestler’ and the person who seemed to kickstart this egomanaical rampage from Jericho, will be in the front row.

Brother Vs. Brother Extreme Rules Match
    Jeff Hardy Vs. Matt Hardy

Jealousy is the driving force behind this match, at least in Matt Hardy’s case. After finding out that his brother might have been responsible for numerous cruel ‘twists of fate’, Jeff finally snapped and agreed to face his brother at WrestleMania. For years we have seen the Hardy’s use unique and outrageous offence against their opponents with no regard for their own bodies, the question is how far will they go against each other?

    Tag Team Title Unification Match
The Miz & John Morrison (w/Nikki Bella) Vs. Carlito & Primo (w/Brie Bella)

Both sets of titles have been defended successfully by their respective owners in the lead up to WrestleMania, but on the night only one team can leave as the Undisputed Tag Champions.

    Intercontinental Championship Match
    JBL (c) Vs. Rey Mysterio

Rey and JBL have met more times than J.R has declared a match a ‘Slobberknocker’, or at least that’s how it feels for the fans. This match seems to have been rushed through at the last minute and will hopefully have a twist to it in order to save it from becoming WrestleMania’s most obsolete match.

If nothing else it will be a good opportunity to visit the bathroom on an otherwise solid card.

    The Streak Match
    The Undertaker Vs. Shawn Michaels

The Undertaker received challenges from Shawn Michaels, JBL and Vladimir Kozlov but it was ‘Mr WrestleMania’ Shawn Michaels won through in two qualifying matches, and will attempt to end ‘The Streak’ this year.

Michaels turned the tables on Taker in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania, playing mind games on The Deadman and generally getting the better of him. Will he have what it takes to end a legacy?

    World Heavyweight Championship Match
Edge (c) Vs. John Cena Vs. The Big Show

With John Cena muscling his way into this match and exposing Vikki Guererro’s affair with The Big Show, tensions are already running high between the three participants before the Heavyweight Championship has even been considered. Come the conclusion of this match at WrestleMania not only will we know who the World Heavyweight Champion is, but also who has won Vikki Gurerrro’s heart.

    WWE Championship Match
Randy Orton Vs. Triple H (c)

Randy Orton and Triple H are no strangers to each other, having met in championship matches before. Orton raised the stakes in this one by taking apart The Game’s family, but the McMahons wounds seem to have healed and they could prove just the thing to stave off the threat of an unfair advantage that Legacy will no doubt pose.

Every time the two have met for the title Triple H has been victorious, can Orton end this trend on the grandest stage of them all?
