Shelton Benjamin

John Morrison
Announced on WWE.Com just a few hours before the event.
Benjamin and Morrison have been sniping at each other for a while now and it’s no surprise that this match has been scheduled for Judgement Day, although why it was left until the last minute is anyone’s guess.
The big question here will be whether Charlie Haas continues to help his old team mate or if Benjamin has to go it alone against The Friday Night Delight.
Grudge Match

C.M Punk
Vs.
Umaga
Umaga has made it his business to destroy Punk at every opportunity, preventing him from cashing in the Money in the Bank and potentially claiming Edge’s World Heavyweight Championship.
At Judgement Day Punk gets the chance to exact some revenge on the Samoan Bulldozer in a one on one match.
Intercontinental Championship Match

Rey Mysterio
Vs.
Chris Jericho
Jericho has been sulking ever since he was drafted to Smackdown, claiming he is not being treated with the respect that the 2008 Superstar of the Year should be getting.
After seemingly upsetting half of the blue brand’s dressing room and losing the chance to wrestle in the World Heavyweight Championship match at Judgement Day, Jericho is now set to face fellow draftee Rey Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship.
This has the potential to be a great match and the start of what could be an epic feud.

John Cena
Vs.
The Big Show
If it wasn’t for the actions of The Big Show there is a strong possibility John Cena would now be the World Heavyweight Champion. Now a wounded Cena is seeking revenge despite being nowhere near 100%.
Cena and Show have been in an off and on rivalry for the past few months and it will finally come to a head when they meet for the first time 1 on 1 at Judgement Day.
ECW Championship Match

Jack Swagger
Christian finally picked up the ECW Championship from Swagger and it didn’t take the former Champ long to use his re-match clause.
Can Christian retain the title or will Swagger ruin the party and regain the belt less than a month after he lost it?
World Heavyweight Championship Match

Jeff Hardy
Edge and Hardy have met more times than either of them will care to remember since they joined the WWE in 1998. Over the years they have traded blows, titles, friends and enemies but at Judgement Day they will meet 1 on 1 for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Last time they met Matt Hardy cost his brother the match and the title although now he is out of the picture anything could happen.
Hardy won a 4 man elimination match to get a shot at the title, before then beating Chris Jericho to make sure the match remained 1 on 1.
WWE Championship Match

Vs.
Batista
At Backlash Orton finally punted his way to the WWE Championship, putting Triple H on the shelf in the process.
After taking out Shane McMahon in a 3 on 1 match Legacy had planned to do the same to Batista, however The Animal hunted down and eliminated Rhodes and DiBiase before wearing out Orton with a steel chair just days before they are set to meet for the belt at Judgement Day.
