    Elimination Chamber 2010 Lite Results!

    WWE Championship Match

    Elimination Chamber Match
    Sheamus (c)
    Vs.
    Randy Orton
    Vs.
    John Cena
    Vs.
    Triple H
    Vs.
    Ted DiBiase
    Vs.
    Kofi Kingston

    This match saw all the eliminations take place in quick succession at the end of the match.

    Cody Rhodes once again cost his leader Orton the title, although there could be severe repercussions for fellow Legacy member DiBiase as it was he who pinned the Legend Killer.

    Result: John Cena wins after eliminating Triple H by Submission.

    WWE Championship Match
    John Cena (c)
    Vs.
    Batista

    Immediately after Cena’s win Vince McMahon emerged and booked this match, which Batista won in minutes.

    Result: Batista steals the WWE Championship from an exhausted Cena by pinfall.

    Intercontinental Championship Match

    Singles Match
    Drew McIntyre (c)
    Vs.
    Kane

    This won’t have set anyone’s world on fire, but it wasn’t terrible either.

    Kane lost to a well placed thumb and a future shock.

    Result: McIntyre retains after some underhanded tactics.

    Segment 1

    Pardon your French

    Gail Kim revealed that she also speaks French and has understood all the nasty things Maryse has said to her in recent weeks.

    WWE Divas Championship Match

    Divas Tag Team Match
    Maryse & Gail Kim
    Vs.
    Lay-Cool

    Vickie Guerrero emerged at the start of this match and said that as Raw divas had been insulting Smackdown divas, she has postponed the title match and replaced it with a tag team bout.

    It was about as average as you’d expect it to be.

    Result: Lay-Cool pick up the win after Maryse turned on her partner.

    Segment 2

    nXt Hype

    The Miz talked about his ‘rookie’ until M.V.P interrupted and told him they were going to have an impromptu match for his U.S Championship tonight.

    Segment 3

    More nXt Hype

    William Regal talked for a while about nXt until Edge interrupted him.

    Edge said he’d choose his WrestleMania opponent tomorrow night on Raw, then Speared Regal out of his brogues.

    United States Championship Match

    Singles Match
    The Miz (c) (w/ The Big Show)
    Vs.
    M.V.P (w/Mark Henry)

    Miz put in a good performance here but needed some help from his partner to get the job done.

    Highlight of the match had to be Mark Henry destroying the Timekeepers area after charging at Show and missing.

    Result: The Miz retains the title with a literal helping hand from The Big Show

    World Heavyweight Championship Match

    Elimination Chamber Match
    The Undertaker (c)
    Vs.
    Rey Mysterio
    Vs.
    John Morrison
    Vs.
    R-Truth
    Vs.
    Chris Jericho
    Vs.
    C.M Punk

    This match had it all! Preaching from Punk, high flying antics from Truth, Mysterio and Morrison, plenty of twists and turns and a Show-Stopping ending as HBK emerged from under the chamber to cost The Deadman his title!

    Result: Chris Jericho claims the gold with a huge assist from Shawn Michaels.

    Cast Your Vote!

    WWEBlog fans couldn’t decide between Triple H and John Cena, who captured 39.1% of the votes each.

    Randy Orton came third, one place ahead of Sheamus and two places ahead of Kofi Kingston.

    Not a single fan thought Ted DiBiase has what it takes to claim the WWE Championship!

    Results from the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber poll show that almost half of our voters think The Undertaker will keep hold of his title (49.1%).

    Jericho came second with 22.6%, followed by Rey Mysterio (13.2%), John Morrison (7.5%) and R-Truth (5.7%).

    Only one solitary person thought that C.M Punk would take the title in this one.

    3. Drew McIntyre defeated Kane by Pinfall to retain the Intercontinental Championship
    4. Lay-Cool defeated Gail Kim & Maryse by Pinfall
    5. The Miz defeated M.V.P by Pinfall to retain the United States Championship
    6. Chris Jericho won the World Heavyweight Championship in the Elimination Chamber Match
